25% of French people admit to practicing presenteeism
Staying in the office simply to be “seen well”: according to the recruitment platform Glassdoor (2), 1 out of 4 French people would. Some admit to practicing presenteeism by lingering when they are no longer effective. Some even do personal tasks to pass the time in the workplace.
This figure shows that many organizations are still struggling to adapt to the needs of their employees by not offering flexible hours. It is a marker of “invisible disengagement.”
14,310 euros per year and per employee: this is the cost of disengagement
In 2019, the study by the APICIL Group and the MOZART Consulting firm (2) modelled the IBET, the Well-being at Work Index. This one was degraded by 27% compared to the previous year.
