“It was at the Matters 10th anniversary party where there was a photo box. We said to ourselves: Why not do ours for Matters? We could bring our own features, and that would cost Matters less.” Xavier, 28 years old.

Is DIY, the new Eldorado of Teambuilding? Xavier, Thomas and Quentin from Matters tell us how they hit the jackpot on Teamstarter to build their own Photobox at work!

Our three developers get together and develop the idea, do research, establish a budget, launch the project on the platform, and propose it to the company's 60 employees.

Result: in three days, 4700€ raised on Teamstarter for the creation of the Matters Photo Box!

Thomas explains the three advantages of creating them compared to a classic Photobox:

“The cost: we make it profitable after 3 events! Customization: under each photo there is the inscription “Matters” and we can personalize it by creating new templates endlessly. And finally, availability: it will remain on the premises, we have access to it every day! Each client, candidate will have access to our photo box and will be able to leave with a photo, that's pretty cool.”

What is the impact for this project?

We agree, creating a Matters Photo Box is pretty great. And the impact on Matters' business?

Quentin:

“The training aspect seems the most obvious, we wanted to try out the technologies needed to develop the project, which could be used later for a client. You can see the Matters Photo Box as just another prototype of what Matters developers can do for their customers.”

Why buy a product when you have the ability and the desire to do it yourself? Aren't we in the mood for Do-It-Yourself? Isn't this approach even more valuable in business, where personal and collective commitment to a creative process is a factor of development? Chez Teamstarter we are convinced of it!
