Setting up the project
“I noticed that there is a festive culture at Nexeo, we regularly organize afterworks! So when Teamstarter arrived, I said to myself why not organize a tasting evening to discover my region of origin, Burgundy!” - Thibault, Business Engineer at Nexeo.
Nexeo (a consulting firm specializing in IS transformation and business consulting) has embarked on the Teamstarter adventure! Being based in three different countries, it is important for them to continue federate their teams and engaging the consultant community. With Teamstarter, they now give their employees the opportunity to create projects that suit them.
So when Thibault discovered the platform, he started right away! He offers a tasting evening around his region: Burgundy! He describes his project on Teamstarter and offers to taste wines and regional dishes in a friendly atmosphere.

A frugal approach
He contacted a childhood friend who worked for the wines of Château de Pommard, who then offered him to bring back bottles from his vineyard and lead the tasting.
He defines the budget and sets the price at €20 per participant, which includes food expenses and setting up the room (as for the stemware that they will reuse later).
The event is planned for around 25 people, but there is so much enthusiasm for the project that several people participate at the last moment and join the tasting room! Thibault is happy that everyone was present and that they all feel equally concerned about this project.

In addition to organizing and financing his event more easily, Thibault is proud to have shared his land that is dear to him. It is a project that is close to his heart and it allows him to share moments like this with his colleagues. The pleasure is also shared by the other collaborators, who continue to discuss this evening!
