Organize a corporate event

Involve all employees

“Tradition has it that we organize an evening to celebrate the end of the year. But each time we encountered the same problems: who comes, who does what, does everyone agree... The motivation was never there... And then I launched the project on Teamstarter!” - Valentine

Valentin is the co-founder and CTO of Persistent Studios, a studio developing special effects solutions for video games and movies.

And Valentin does not want an impersonal Christmas evening that does not correspond to the desires of employees, the kind of dreary, corporate and mandatory event that nobody likes. This year, he wants to organize something special, a festive moment that would be unanimously appreciated, an evening where everyone would really be together. And what could be better than a Christmas Raclette evening?

He is therefore preparing a new project for this year and is publishing it on Teamstarter: “End of year party @ Paris - See you on December 13”!

Time is running out, but he knows very quickly if this corresponds to the expectations of his employees, because, once the project is shared, everyone can collaborate and/or finance their project (with the €10 that is allocated to them monthly)!

And... It's the jackpot for Valentine: In a few hours, the 41 people signed up for the project and the proposed budget of €410.57 was collected! All employees exchange ideas and co-create the evening!

A project that corresponds to the culture of the company

His project was validated by the employees, and that was what mattered the most for him: to have a Christmas evening that corresponds to the employees and for once, it has never been easier to organize this evening.

“Teamstarter motivated all employees unanimously to participate. It created emulation around the project, everyone felt concerned and heard”! - Valentine.

The budget met and after a few back and forth with his teams, the project was finalized!

On Thursday December 13, the team meets to tidy up the offices, install the decor, the Christmas tree, buy a few kilos of cheese for their raclette!

This year, thanks to this initiative, they therefore chose the decor themselves, and they got involved in each of the tasks using their free time and creativity!

“The advantage of this type of event is to strengthen team cohesion: employees get closer, not in small groups but all together”! - Valentine

With Teamstarter, at Persistent Studios, each employee can express themselves by launching a project. The only limit: succeed in convincing colleagues by reaching the requested budget. No need to go through the C-Levels since the budget is validated directly by the employees.

Strengthen team cohesion

Part of the team is based in Bordeaux, and they too have organized a project to decorate the offices! This makes it possible to unite the Paris/Bordeaux teams and involve all employees in the life of the company!

“It is a simple way to contribute to the well-being of employees and to make our company more pleasant” - Valentin.

This is not the first project that is launched at Persistent Studios, employees regularly propose and launch projects: climbing sessions, decorations, innovation projects...

In Bordeaux or Paris, anyone can launch a project and everyone is completely autonomous on their project. The corporate culture is ultra-strong!

“The feedback from all the teams is very positive, now, when there is an idea, Teamstarter has become the reflex”! — Valentine.
